For the past ten years I have enjoyed practicing Optometry in Calgary Alberta at Crowfoot Vision Centre. I would like to thank all of my wonderful patients for supporting me throughout the years. My family and I have decided to relocate to beautiful Canmore Alberta. I will now be practicing at FYI doctors in Canmore and Banff. I am happy to continue caring for all of my patients at either location. I take great pride in my work and receive satisfaction in providing the best eye care to my patients. My passion for Optometry was inspired by spending the first six years of my life with congenital cataracts. My life was forever changed after being the first child in Canada to receive modern cataract surgery. The combination of surgery and progressive glasses help me see and enjoy life to the fullest!

I studied biochemistry and psychophyics at the University of Winnipeg where I was awarded the Lieutenant Governor Gold Medal. I subsequently pursued research within the department of Neuro-Opthalmology at McGill University, after which I was accepted to the University of Waterloo Optometry program where I graduated with Honours and continued to pursue research pertaining to the hemodynamics of the retina at Toronto Western Hospital. After graduation I had the pleasure of completing an additional externship at the Nagri Eye Hospital in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

When I am not practicing Optometry I love to spend time with my husband and two lovely daughters. Our favourite place to be is outside in the Rocky Mountains.
